Anime is not simply "cartoon animation." It is a sophisticated Japanese animation tradition with distinct visual language, aesthetic principles, and storytelling conventions that evolved over decades. Generating authentic anime-style videos requires understanding how anime achieves its signature look through deliberate artistic choices, not accident.
Anime uses limited animation with impact frames — rather than smooth 24fps motion, key frames are strategically placed where they matter most, creating dynamic visual rhythm. The gaps between frames aren't lazy; they're intentional. This technique, combined with dramatic lighting, color psychology, and deliberate silence, creates emotional intensity impossible in Western animation.
Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield allows us to encode these principles into video prompts that capture authentic anime aesthetics — from the cel-shaded flatness of character designs to the explosive energy of action sequences.
Platform: Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield Video Format: MP4, WebM, ProRes Resolution: 1080p (1920x1080) or 4K (3840x2160) Frame Rate: 24fps (anime standard) or 60fps (high-action slow-mo) Duration: Optimal 2-30 seconds; up to 60 seconds possible Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (cinema), 9:16 (mobile), 1:1 (square) Color Space: Rec. 709 (Standard) or DCI-P3 (graded)
Key Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield Capabilities for Anime:
The first 2 seconds of an anime clip must immediately establish the anime aesthetic and capture attention through visual impact. These 10+ anime hooks should be woven into opening moments:
Eyes are the soul of anime. Open with an extreme close-up of a character's eye as light reflects across it, revealing emotion or power awakening. The iris should show detail — star-shaped highlights, color gradations, or a tiny reflection of flames/action. 0.5 second of stillness, then pupil contraction or expansion as the scene "activates."
The signature anime visual. Straight lines (perspective lines) emanate from the center of frame or from an object, indicating sudden motion or a moment about to happen. Lines can be horizontal, radial, or following the edge of a swooping movement. Combine with a slight zoom-in or object entrance.
If applicable: a flash of white light that obscures the screen, then pulls back to reveal a transformed state — new outfit, powered-up form, or shifted character. The flash should be instantaneous and disorienting, lasting 0.3 seconds max.
A sword, weapon, or object being drawn with a metallic shine. The moment the blade clears the sheath, a brilliant light reflection flashes across it. Pair with a sharp sound (implied) and slight slowdown of motion.
Expand outward from a character: glowing energy (electric blue, golden, or purple) radiates in layers, with particles trailing. The expansion should push outward with force, momentarily distorting the background. Aura color dictates power type (cold = ice, warm = fire, etc.).
Petals swirl across frame in a gust of wind, establishing the "anime romance" or "nostalgia" mood. Petals should be semi-translucent, floating on invisible currents, possibly obscuring/revealing elements behind. Works for peaceful scenes or emotional moments.
Bold, stylized text (katakana, kanji, or English) appears with dynamic perspective, rotating into place from off-screen. Background may shift or blur. Text should have a bold outline and fill, matching anime OP/ED title treatment.
A character or object in silhouette against a golden sunset, blue twilight, or storm clouds. The sky fills 60-70% of frame, with dramatic color gradients. Silhouette is perfectly black. Establishes tone and scale.
A moment of physical impact — punch, blade strike, or collision — frozen in time with a bright cross-shaped highlight at the center. Surrounding area may blur or motion-blur backward. Lasts 0.2-0.4 seconds.
For lighter anime: a character suddenly appears in exaggerated "chibi" proportion (larger head, smaller body), with oversized expression — surprise, anger, or cuteness. Accompanied by a cartoonish sound (implied) and quick pulsing glow.
A single bead of sweat appears on a character's face/head, reflecting light, and falls — implying nervousness, effort, or comedy. The drop should be glossy and catch light realistically.
The entire image momentarily overlays with a halftone pattern or diagonal lines (reminiscent of manga), emphasizing emotion or comedic moment. Lasts 0.1-0.3 seconds before clearing.
To write effective anime prompts, internalize these visual principles:
Anime characters are drawn on 2D planes. Backgrounds are often painted with watercolor-like texture. Light should reveal form without photorealism — shadows are solid blocks of color, not gradients. Hair and clothing have defined edges, not feathered blends.
Not every frame is animated. Characters hold poses for 0.5-1 second stretches. When motion happens, it's decisive and bold — a punch travels fully in 0.2 seconds. Static frames exist between motion sequences, creating visual rhythm and allowing viewers' eyes to "read" the action.
Anime uses light to create mood and guide emotion:
Motion isn't shown through blur. Instead, straight lines (perspective lines from a vanishing point) indicate direction and speed. Speed lines are sharp, not soft. They appear behind moving objects or fill the screen during fast camera movements.
Anime color is never accidental:
Eyes are disproportionately large and detailed:
Hair behaves impossibly — it floats, spikes, or flows with wind that doesn't exist. Hair strands are defined and individual. During motion, hair streaks or trails (motion blur but outlined). Gravity is optional.
Halftone dots, diagonal lines, and mesh patterns overlay scenes to suggest texture, emotion, or comedic effect. These are borrowed from manga but translated to moving image.
Use this structure as a baseline for all anime-style Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield prompts:
Each anime genre has a signature visual identity. Master these to match user intent:

Master these camera movements for Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield anime prompts:
Camera rapidly zooms in on subject's face or detail, stopping just before a reaction or action. Emphasizes emotional moment or incoming threat. Can use speed lines to enhance sensation of motion.
Camera orbits around character or object, creating dynamic 3D-like effect. Used during transformation sequences, power-up moments, or to establish grand settings. Often 360-degree or 180-degree rotation.
Camera frame is tilted 15-30 degrees from horizontal. Indicates psychological disturbance, danger, or comedic confusion. More common in serious/dark anime.
Camera moves across scene while background layers move at different speeds, creating depth. Foreground moves faster than distant background. Creates cinematic, painterly effect.
Camera positioned at character's eye level or slightly offset, simulating the character's perspective as they perform action. Often combined with speed lines. Very immersive.
Camera locked in place while character moves through frame. Common in slice-of-life for mundane moments. Contrasts with dynamic action sequences.
Rapid lateral camera movement that momentarily blurs the frame, then stops on new subject. Creates comedic or dramatic transition. Often paired with sound effect.
Camera smoothly follows character movement at walking pace. Establishes setting and character mood. Often used in opening sequences or peaceful moments.
Camera positioned above scene looking down. Establishes scale (showing character small in vast landscape) or establishes setting layout (battlefield, city, classroom).
Camera positioned low, looking up at character or object. Makes subject appear powerful, imposing, or threatening. Opposite effect of looking down.
Lighting and color are not decorative — they are emotional language in anime.
Place key light source behind or to the extreme side of character, creating bright outline. Foreground remains dark or backlit. Separates character from background, creates silhouette effect. Used in serious moments (power reveals, confrontations).
Color variations:
Scene lit as if by setting sun. All colors shift toward warm (yellows, oranges, reds). Induces nostalgia, peace, romance. Common in slice-of-life and ending sequences. Sky may be orange-red with deep blue shadows.
Scene lit as if in twilight with clear sky (deep blue). Colors shift toward cool (blues, cyans, magentas). Induces melancholy, mystery, introspection. Common in dramatic or sad moments. Shadows are deep blue, not black.
Dark scene lit primarily by neon signs, LED screens, holographic elements. Accent colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, lime) pop against black. Used in sci-fi, cyberpunk, or urban night scenes. Creates high contrast.
Entire scene has warm color cast as if printed on old film. Saturated but warm colors. Indicates memory, flashback, or "good old days." Can be subtle (10% warmth boost) or heavy (80%+ warmth).
Colors are reduced in saturation, pushed toward grayscale with cool color casts. Cool shadows (blue, purple, green tints). Used in serious, dark, or introspective moments. Removes visual comfort.
Bright key light creating sharp, dramatic shadows. Limited fill light (shadows remain dark). High color saturation. Creates bold, graphic look. Common in action anime.
Diffuse, even lighting with minimal shadows. Colors are pastel or soft. No harsh lines. Induces warmth and comfort. Common in romantic scenes and slice-of-life.
Light beams visible in air (dust particles catching light). Creates magical, ethereal atmosphere. Often used with magical effects, waterfalls, or spiritual moments. Light appears to have physical presence.
While Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield generates video, sound design should be described in prompts for later audio addition:
Anime openings and endings are their own art form. They're not just intros — they establish tone and excite viewers.

ED Structure for Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield prompts:
Fix: Anime is a holistic visual language. Eyes are important but focus equally on:
Example correction: Instead of "anime girl with big eyes," write "anime character with large tsurime eyes, long flowing hair with defined strands and motion blur, cel-shaded skin, warm peachy tone, positioned in dynamic action pose with blue aura, speed lines radiating from center, dramatic rim lighting from bright energy effect."
Fix: Anime is distinct from Western cartoon styles. Western cartoons: rounder shapes, softer edges, more pastel colors, more exaggeration of form. Anime: sharp lines, defined edges, dramatic lighting, realistic proportions (except eyes and hair), color psychology, emotional intensity.
Example confusion: "Cartoon anime style" — remove "cartoon." It's just "anime style."
Fix: Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield shows VISUAL information. Don't write "character feels sad." Write "character stands with shoulders slumped, head tilted down, single tear forming at inner eye corner with glossy reflection, mouth in slight frown, eyebrows tilted inward-upward (sadness expression)."
Fix: Anime relies heavily on sound design. Describe audio explicitly:
Fix: Even in peaceful anime scenes, micro-animations exist. Characters breathe, blink, hair moves slightly. Describe these:
Fix: Anime colors are intentional. Don't write "make it look like anime with random colors." Specify:
Fix: Anime doesn't show every frame of motion. Build this into prompts:
Fix: First 2 seconds are CRITICAL. Use the hook framework explicitly. Don't write vague openings. Write:

GENRE: Shonen action anime (climactic fight moment)
AESTHETIC: Explosive energy, high impact, dramatic lighting
RESOLUTION: 4K (3840x2160)
DURATION: 8 seconds
FRAME RATE: 24fps
ASPECT RATIO: 16:9
[OPENING 2-SECOND HOOK - 0:00-0:02]
Hook: Dramatic Eye Close-Up with Power-Up Aura Explosion
Open on an extreme close-up of a male anime character's eye. The iris is golden-amber with a four-pointed star-shaped highlight. As the eye fills the frame, a surge of blue electric aura radiates outward from behind the head, visible at the edge of frame. The aura pulses outward in two expanding rings, with electric sparks trailing in its wake. Speed lines (perspective lines from behind) zoom past the character's face to indicate acceleration. Eye pupil contracts sharply at 0.1 seconds into the scene.
Camera zoom-out reveals the character's determined face, spiky dark hair floating upward with impossible wind physics. A collar or clothing is visible at frame bottom.
Art style: Cel-shaded 2D anime character on slightly abstracted blue-electric background. Lighting: Rim light from electric aura (bright blue on edges of face). Shadows on face are dark navy, not gradients. Highlights on cheekbones and forehead are stark white.
Color palette: Deep blues, electric cyan, black shadows, white highlights, skin warm peachy tone. Saturation: 140% (over-saturated for power moment).
Sound design: Electronic power-up charge tone (ascending pitch) reaching crescendo at 0.5 seconds, followed by orchestral impact sting at 1.0 seconds.
[SCENE 1 - 0:02-0:05]
SETTING: Open valley at sunset. Golden-orange sky fills upper 70% of frame. Ground is rocky, sparse grass. Two combatants face each other at opposite frame edges, roughly 20 meters apart. Dramatic lighting from sun low on horizon (golden hour extreme). Deep blue shadows on ground. Volumetric light rays visible in dust-filled air between them.
MAIN ACTION: Character A (from previous eye close-up) stands at frame left in power stance — legs planted shoulder-width apart, fists clenched. Aura of electric blue energy surrounds full body in a 1-meter radius. Second character (opponent) at frame right in neutral stance, watching.
ANIMATION STYLE: Character A's aura pulses with 0.3-second rhythm (expand outward, retract inward, repeat). Hair and clothing flutter in response to aura pressure. Limited animation: character body is stationary, only aura and hair moving. Extreme 2-frame (12fps internal) movement for aura pulsing to emphasize limited animation aesthetic.
LIGHTING: Rim lighting on Character A from sun behind and to right — golden outline on left silhouette. Heavy directional light from sunset creates long shadows stretched across ground toward right. Character B is partially backlit, appears in silhouette.
COLOR: Golden-orange sky (70% frame), deep blue shadows, character A glowing cyan-blue aura, black silhouette for character B. Saturation: 130%.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Aura: Electric blue glow surrounding character, with 4-5 concentric rings expanding and retracting
- Sparks: White/yellow spark particles drift upward from aura surface
- Speed lines: Stationary character still radiates subtle speed lines outward (indicating contained explosive energy)
- Dust: Tan/gray dust particles swirl around character's feet
- Screen tone: Brief (0.2-second) diagonal line pattern overlay at 0.3 seconds into this scene (manga-style emphasis of power moment)
[SCENE 2 - 0:05-0:08]
SETTING: Same valley, but dynamic energy explosion has occurred. Rocky ground now cratered at center point between combatants. Dust cloud fills lower half of frame. Sky remains golden-orange above dust layer.
MAIN ACTION: Character A launches forward at extreme speed. Character B braces for incoming attack.
ANIMATION STYLE: Limited animation with impact emphasis. Character A's movement from standing to launch should happen in two key frames with speed lines filling gap (smear frame effect). Character B reaction shot: eyes widening, pupils dilating, mouth opening slightly. These reactions are held 0.2 seconds (static frame).
MOVEMENT SEQUENCE:
- 0:05.0-0:05.2: Character A contract pose (coiling back for attack) — static hold, speed lines radiating outward
- 0:05.2-0:05.5: Character A launches forward — speed lines create motion sense, blue aura trails behind (motion blur)
- 0:05.5-0:06.0: Mid-attack smear frame — character slightly blurred/elongated showing extreme speed
- 0:06.0-0:06.3: Impact moment — white flash covers frame center (0.5 brightness intensity), Character A fist contacts (implied), impact cross-shaped highlight appears
- 0:06.3-0:08.0: Reaction moment — Character B blown backward by impact, mouth open in shock, sweat drop falling from forehead (glossy, light-reflecting), speed lines trail behind B's motion
LIGHTING: During impact flash (0:06.0-0:06.3), screen brighten significantly (white impacts light), then returns to golden-orange sunset. Impact point illuminated from within by character A's aura. Dynamic shadows shift with motion.
COLOR: Golden-orange sky, blue-cyan aura bright, tan dust, white impact flash at 0:06.0. Saturation 140% during impact.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Speed lines: Emanating from Character A's launch point during 0:05.0-0:05.5 (radial perspective lines suggesting speed)
- Motion blur: Trail of blue aura light behind Character A during 0:05.2-0:06.0 (soft blue streaks)
- Impact flash: White light covers center 60% of frame, pulling back at 0:06.3
- Impact cross: Bright white cross-shaped highlight at fist-contact point (0.2 seconds duration)
- Dust burst: Tan/gray dust particles explode outward and upward from impact point
- Afterimage: 2-3 slightly transparent ghosted images of Character A's form trailing behind actual character during launch (indicates superhuman speed)
[AUDIO]
0:00-0:05: Rising orchestral strings with electronic power charge tone
0:05.0: Dramatic orchestral sting hits (full brass section)
0:06.0: Impact crash sound (heavy, resonant bass note paired with high metallic crash)
0:06.3-0:08: Tense orchestral strings with Character B's reaction

[OPENING 2-SECOND HOOK - 0:00-0:02]
Hook: Cherry Blossom Wind Gust with Warm Sunlight
Fade in from black to a close-up of cherry blossom petals swirling across frame. Petals are semi-translucent pink/white, gently floating on invisible wind. Behind petals, a blurred golden window frame is visible, with warm sunlight streaming through. Petals drift across from left to right, then right to left, creating peaceful, random motion patterns. No speed or urgency — motion is leisurely. At 0.8 seconds, camera slowly pulls back to reveal more of the scene beyond window.
Lighting: Warm golden sunlight diffused through window. Shadows are very soft, rendered in light orange-brown tones (not black). Saturation: 80% (softer than normal for peaceful feeling).
Sound design: Soft acoustic guitar chord or gentle piano note held throughout. Optional: subtle wind sound, light and airy.
[SCENE 1 - 0:02-0:04]
SETTING: Japanese-style bedroom interior. Single futon (mattress) on tatami mat floor. Morning sunlight streams through shoji screen (latticed paper door) at right side of frame, creating soft shadow grid pattern on futon. Room is minimalist — few possessions, wooden details, paper lantern visible in background. Warm golden hour light dominates.
MAIN ACTION: Female anime character (anime proportions: large eyes, delicate features) wakes on futon. She is lying on her side, eyes closed, peaceful expression. Eyes slowly open to reveal large, soft eyes (tareme style — gentle, rounded). She stretches one arm lazily above her head.
ANIMATION STYLE: Minimal animation. Character lies still for 0.8 seconds, then eyes open over 0.4 seconds (slow, heavy-eyed opening), then arm stretch happens over 0.6 seconds (slow, realistic movement, not exaggerated). Movement is gentle and naturalistic, not action anime style.
LIGHTING: Warm golden sunlight from screen door. Face is lit from right side. Left side of face and body is in soft shadow (golden-brown tone, not black). Skin has warm peachy tone. Hair has soft light highlights.
COLOR: Golden-yellow sunlight dominant, warm cream interior tones, peachy skin, dark warm-brown hair, white/pale blue pajamas. Saturation: 75% (softer).
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Dust motes: Fine dust particles visible in sunlight beam, drifting slowly (volumetric light effect)
- Soft shadow grid: Grid pattern from shoji screen projected on futon and floor, very soft-edged
- Hair strand highlight: Single bright white line highlights on hair, showing glossy texture
- Breathing: Very subtle rise-and-fall of chest during sleep and early wake moments
[SCENE 2 - 0:04-0:06]
SETTING: Same bedroom, now wider frame showing window/screen door at right. Outside window, out-of-focus green trees and more cherry blossoms visible. Room interior is warm and wooden.
MAIN ACTION: Character sits up slowly on futon, brushing hair from face. She looks toward window with gentle, content expression. Soft smile appears.
ANIMATION STYLE: Sitting-up motion occurs over 1.2 seconds (realistic speed, not fast). Head tilt and hair brushing happen simultaneously. Facial expression is static except for slow smile that emerges over 0.8 seconds.
LIGHTING: Same warm sunlight. Face is now more fully illuminated as she sits. Rim light from window creates soft glow on side of face and in hair.
COLOR: Golden sunlight, pale cream room, character peachy-warm tones. Saturation 75%.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- None — simple, peaceful moment
- Texture: Soft focus on background (depth of field shallow, blurs background trees and window)
[AUDIO]
0:00-0:06: Soft, continuous acoustic guitar or piano. Simple, repeating melody (think: peaceful morning theme from slice-of-life anime). Volume: ambient, not foreground. No percussion, no urgency.
[OUTPUT]
- Duration: 6 seconds

GENRE: Mecha anime (giant robot combat)
AESTHETIC: Metallic, imposing, industrial, explosive
RESOLUTION: 4K (3840x2160)
DURATION: 10 seconds
FRAME RATE: 24fps
ASPECT RATIO: 16:9
[OPENING 2-SECOND HOOK - 0:00-0:02]
Hook: Mecha Power-Up with Cockpit Illumination + Impact Frame
Open in cockpit (interior cabin) of massive mecha. Frame is tight on pilot's face — large anime eyes widening in concentration. Bright cyan-blue light floods cockpit from panels/screens as mecha powers up. Pilot's face is illuminated by neon glow — cyan on one side, warm amber on other (dual-light source). At 0.7 seconds, cut to external view: mecha silhouette against dark storm clouds. Bright cyan-white power core glows in center of mecha chest. Energy expands outward in concentric rings, distorting air around it. Speed lines radiate outward. At 1.5 seconds, cut back to pilot expression: determination, gritted teeth, eyes narrowed.
Lighting: Cockpit: neon cyan and amber light sources. External: mecha rim-lit by its own power core (bright cyan), storm clouds deep purple-gray behind.
Color palette: Deep purples and grays (storm sky), bright cyan-neon, warm amber cockpit light, black shadows, metallic grays on mecha.
Sound design: Electronic power-up charge (rising pitch), then orchestral brass sting at 1.5 seconds.
[SCENE 1 - 0:02-0:05]
SETTING: Dystopian city battlefield at dusk. City is cyberpunk-industrial: towering buildings, neon signs, rain falling. Sky is dark purple-gray with storm clouds. Visibility is limited by rain and haze. Two massive mecha face each other across ruined plaza. Both mecha are 50+ meters tall. Ground is cracked, scorched, debris scattered. Neon signs reflect off wet ground.
MECHA 1 (protagonist): Sleek, angular design in blacks and cyans. Cockpit glows cyan from internal screens. Core on chest glows bright cyan (power buildup). Standing in neutral stance.
MECHA 2 (antagonist): Bulky, industrial design in dark grays and reds. Less refined. Standing in combat-ready stance at opposite frame edge.
ANIMATION STYLE: Limited animation, but with mechanical precision. Mecha 1 raises arm slowly over 0.8 seconds (realistic hydraulic speed, not instant). The arm has rigid segments that articulate with distinct angles (no organic fluidity). Internal glow of cockpit remains constant. Power core pulses with 0.4-second rhythm.
LIGHTING: Scattered neon light from buildings illuminates from multiple angles. Primary light source is Mecha 1's cyan core (rim lighting effect on its own surfaces). Mecha 2 is more shadowed, rim-lit faintly by distant neon. Rain catches light, visible as streaks. Ground reflects neon colors.
COLOR: Deep purple-gray sky, dark building silhouettes, bright cyan neon (signs, core glow), warm red-orange accent lights (signs, danger), black rain shadows, metallic gray on mecha surfaces. Saturation: 110% (neon pops against dark).
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Neon reflections: Cyan and red light reflects on wet ground in distinct puddles and streaks
- Rain: Visible rain drops/streaks in front of and behind mecha, catching light
- Power core pulsing: Cyan glow expands from core, illuminating surrounding mecha panels with each pulse
- Steam/mist: Rising from damaged ground, catching light from neon
- Mechanical details: Highlights on mecha joints, panel edges, showing metallic surfaces
[SCENE 2 - 0:05-0:07]
SETTING: Same battle area, closer view. Camera has moved closer to Mecha 1, showing more detail. Building wreckage visible in foreground (blurred).
MAIN ACTION: Mecha 1 launches forward to attack. Mecha 2 raises weapon.
ANIMATION STYLE: Launch happens in two key frames with speed lines (smear effect). Movement from standing to full stride takes 0.6 seconds. Mecha 2's weapon raise takes 0.8 seconds (mechanical arm raising cannon/blade). These movements are rigid and segmented (not fluid).
MOVEMENT SEQUENCE:
- 0:05.0-0:05.2: Mecha 1 coil pose (slight backward lean for launch prep) — static, speed lines radiating backward
- 0:05.2-0:05.8: Launch movement — speed lines trail behind, footfalls shake camera slightly (screen shake effect, 1-2mm vibration)
- 0:05.8-0:06.2: Mid-run speed lines, rain streaks stretch behind mecha
- 0:06.2-0:07.0: Mecha 2 weapon raises — mechanical precision, distinct angular movement
LIGHTING: Neon light intensifies during mecha movement. Power core glows brighter (brightening effect). Shadows shift dynamically with motion. Rain is more visible mid-motion (heightened visibility of particles).
COLOR: Same purple-gray-cyan-red palette, but cyan core now at +150% brightness during launch. Warm sparks/effects from weapon raise on Mecha 2.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Speed lines: Dense radial lines behind Mecha 1 from 0:05.2-0:05.8

MAIN ACTION: Collision/impact.
ANIMATION STYLE: Impact is instantaneous (single frame transition). Hold impact frame static for 0.3 seconds.
IMPACT MOMENT:
- 0:07.0: White flash covers 70% of frame center (bright impact light), obscuring initial contact
- 0:07.3: Flash clears, impact point visible with massive cross-shaped highlight (bright white/cyan cross, 2-meter size)
- 0:07.5: Explosive outburst — energy explosion between mecha, pushing both backward
- 0:07.7-0:10.0: Mecha staggering backward, impact aftershock effects
LIGHTING: Impact flash is bright white (overexposed), then returns to neon-lit scene with core glow intensified (cyan much brighter). Explosion light is bright blue-white, briefly overwhelming other light sources.
COLOR: White impact (0.3 seconds), then cyan core glows at 200% intensity, explosion is cyan-white, surrounding area is dark silhouette, neon signs dim by comparison during explosion brightness.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Impact flash: White light covers frame center at 0:07.0, fully clears by 0:07.3
- Impact cross: Bright cross-shaped highlight at impact point, +0.4 seconds
- Explosion: Expanding burst of cyan-white energy from impact point, pushing outward in all directions, distorting air

[OPENING 2-SECOND HOOK - 0:00-0:02]
Hook: Cherry Blossom Wind with Blue Hour Lighting
Soft focus close-up of pink cherry blossoms drifting across frame on gentle wind. Camera is stationary. Blossoms are semi-translucent, catching cool blue-hour light. Behind blossoms: blurred silhouettes of two characters standing at distance, facing away from camera. Depth of field: petals in sharp focus, characters heavily blurred. At 0:01.5, camera very slowly pulls back (over 1 second), beginning to reveal more of scene and characters. Petals continue drifting throughout.
Lighting: Blue hour (twilight) — sky is deep blue, shadows are cool blue-purple. Light is cool and diffuse. No harsh directional light.
Color: Deep blue shadows, cool purple-blue tones, pink blossoms pop subtly against cool background. Desaturated overall (saturation: 70%).
Sound design: Soft orchestral strings (minor key, melancholic). Single held note on violin or cello, very quiet, ambient. Subtle wind sound.
[SCENE 1 - 0:02-0:05]
SETTING: Empty train platform at evening/dusk. Station building visible in background (blurred, soft focus). Overhead lamp glows with warm yellow light, but scene is dominated by cool blue hour sky above. Steel platform, minimal people. Two anime characters stand facing each other, roughly 2 meters apart. Space between them is emotionally significant.
CHARACTER 1: Male, tall, stoic expression (mouth slightly downturned, eyes looking down slightly). Wears dark jacket. Standing with hands at sides, posture slightly slumped.
CHARACTER 2: Female, smaller stature (typical anime female proportions), sad expression. Large eyes with soft focus. Long hair. Wears light-colored jacket. Arms crossed, protective posture.
ANIMATION STYLE: Minimal animation. Both characters are largely static. Small movements only: slight breathing, very subtle swaying. At 0:03, Character 1's hand slowly rises to grasp his own arm (self-soothing gesture). At 0:04, Character 2's gaze shifts — eyes look up slightly, then down again. These movements are slow (1-2 second durations each), not instant.
LIGHTING: Cool blue hour dominant. Warm station lamp casts no visible light on characters (too distant). Characters are backlit by sky, rim-lit with blue. Underside of characters slightly illuminated by platform reflection (subtle). No harsh shadows — all shadows are cool blue.
COLOR: Deep blue sky, blue platform, yellow-warm station building (distant/blurred), characters in cool-toned clothing (blacks, dark purples, light blue/gray). Skin has cool pink undertone (not warm peachy). Hair has cool highlights. Saturation: 70% (desaturated, muted).
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Cherry blossoms: Still drifting across frame with wind
- Platform reflection: Very subtle. Characters partially reflected below in glossy platform surface (50% opacity reflection, blurred).
- Atmospheric: Cool haze/mist visible in air (subtle volumetric effect)
[SCENE 2 - 0:05-0:08]
SETTING: Same location. Close-up on faces. Camera has moved closer to characters, framing them in two-shot (both visible but closer). Background is more blurred.
MAIN ACTION: Emotional moment. Character 2's eyes well up with moisture (tears about to fall, not streaming). Character 1 notices, eyes shift to meet her gaze. No dialogue (silence).
ANIMATION STYLE: Character 2's tear: Single tear forms at inner eye corner over 0.5 seconds (glossy, reflecting light), then begins to fall slowly over 0.4 seconds. Character 1's expression softens very subtly — eyebrows relax, slight downward tilt. These micro-expressions happen over 0.8-1.0 seconds (not instant). No dramatic reaction, just quiet recognition.
LIGHTING: Same cool blue hour light. Light from upper left (soft, diffuse) catches tear on Character 2's cheek, creating small bright highlight (very subtle, not shiny).
COLOR: Same cool blue palette. Tear catches light with small cyan-white highlight.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Tear: Single tear, glossy, reflecting light subtly
- Sweat drop (optional alternative): If tears feel too much, single bead of sweat on Character 1's jaw indicates emotional stress
- Eye highlights: Subtle star-shaped highlights in eyes reflect sadness (not excitement)
[SCENE 3 - 0:08-0:10]
SETTING: Wider frame showing both characters and station. Sky above.
MAIN ACTION: Physical connection moment. Characters simultaneously reach hands toward each other. Do NOT show hands touching — stop just short, arms extended, hands inches apart but not connecting. Emotional frustration.
ANIMATION STYLE: Hand reach happens over 1.0 second (slow, deliberate). Arms extend outward from bodies. At 0:09, both reach peak extension. Hold for 0.3 seconds with hands near (but not touching). At 0:09.3, both slowly retract hands back to sides over 0.4 seconds. This sequence is heartbreaking — proximity but no contact.
LIGHTING: Same cool lighting. Hands are lit from above, casting small shadows below (subtle).
COLOR: Clothing and lighting as before.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Blossoms: Continue drifting, some may pass between characters' hands (poignant visual)
- Screen tone: Very brief (0.1 second) diagonal line pattern flash at 0:08.8 (manga-style emotional emphasis — subtle, not heavy-handed)
[SCENE 4 - 0:10-0:12]
SETTING: Wide shot. Characters return to standing position. Train is visible in background, arriving (approaching with distant light).
MAIN ACTION: Goodbye. Characters separate, taking small steps backward from each other. Distance increases. Character 2 turns first, walks toward train. Character 1 remains, watching.
ANIMATION STYLE: Separation happens over 1.0 second. Character 2 turns slowly, walks with reluctant, heavy steps. Camera stays on Character 1's face for last 0.5 seconds, watching her leave. No eye contact after turn.
LIGHTING: Distant train light begins to illuminate scene (slight warm light from train headlight mingles with blue hour, creating cool-warm contrast). Characters cast longer shadows.
COLOR: Cool blue hour begins to be challenged by warm train light. Saturation increases slightly (70% to 75%) as train approaches.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
- Train light: Distant light grows slightly brighter as train approaches
- Silhouettes: Characters briefly become silhouettes against arriving train light at 0:12
- Blossoms: Wind gusts slightly as train approaches (petals swirl faster briefly)
[SCENE 5 - 0:12 (OPTIONAL EXTENSION)]
If extended beyond 12 seconds to 15:
- Train doors closing visual
- Character 2 visible through window (last glimpse)
- Character 1 standing alone on platform, watching train depart
- Train light fades, scene returns to blue hour
- Final shot: Character 1 alone, cherry blossoms drifting
[AUDIO]
0:00-0:05: Soft orchestral strings (minor key), single sustained note. Very quiet, ambient.
0:05-0:08: Strings swell slightly as emotional moment peaks. Cello adds lower note. Still quiet.
0:08-0:10: Strings continue, slight tremolo (wavering) effect emphasizes emotion. Tempo remains slow.
0:10-0:12: Strings begin to fade. Distant train sound effect (rumble, approach). Wind increases slightly.
0:12: Train arrival sound, strings cut off suddenly (silence as train enters), or fade to silence.
OVERALL AUDIO: Sad, lonely, minor key. No percussion. Orchestral only. Tempo: very slow (around 60 BPM suggested). Silence is used as emotional tool — moments of complete quiet emphasize sadness.
