lead-magnets-and-funnels

The offer-design layer of the monetization cluster — design the magnet the capture paths deliver and the whole social→capture→nurture funnel that ties the cluster together. The agent designs + drafts; WoopSocial has no landing/form/email/quiz builder — it publishes the promo posts; capture/delivery/ nurture run in external tools.

The POV: a faster, more personal win — and the whole funnel

The 2018 gated-PDF play is fading — AI assistants now answer what PDFs used to, and ad-blockers/email apathy kill form-fills, so a "12-page Ultimate Guide" underperforms by 3–5×. What wins in 2026 is a faster, more personal win: one audience, one problem, one quick win, delivered as an instant, interactive result (quiz/calculator/assessment/generator/specific template — ~4× a static PDF), with a short form, a magnet tied to your paid offer, and — the most-missed part — the whole funnel designed, not just the magnet (landing → form → success page → delivery → a behavior-branched 3–5 email nurture). Nurtured leads are 50% more sales-ready at 33% less cost; 79% never convert without follow-up.

Read these first

brand-profile — audience/pain + the paid offer the magnet connects to.
goals-and-kpis — the conversion goal the funnel serves.

The framework: MAGNET

(Depth: references/the-magnet-framework.md.)

M — Match to one audience + one problem (one quick win; broad = converts no one).
A — Anchor to the paid offer + the stage (top = quiz/calculator; mid = template/benchmark; bottom = case study/ROI calc — so it qualifies, not just collects).
G — Give an instant, interactive result (on-the-spot beats "check your inbox"; ~4× a PDF).
N — Name it for the outcome (specific, outcome-focused title).
E — Engineer the whole funnel (benefit-first landing → short form [email/+first name] → success page → delivery → nurture; each extra field −5–10%).
T — Tend the nurture (deliver → quick win → proof → soft next step; branch on behavior, not just drip; don't pitch early).

The reality (verify-quarterly)

The dead PDF play; interactive/instant magnets (~4×; 11.4% vs 4.7%); one-audience/one-problem/one-win; stage-matched magnets; design-the-whole-funnel; short forms; value-first behavior-branched nurture; lead-magnet economics + tools: references/lead-magnets-2026-reality.md. Stage-matched magnet menu, funnel architecture, nurture template + worked examples: references/magnet-menu-and-recipes.md.

Honest scope (never violate)

WoopSocial has no landing/form/quiz/email-automation builder — those run in external tools (builders + an ESP), human-set-up. The agent designs the magnet + funnel and drafts the nurture, landing copy, and promo posts; WoopSocial publishes the promo/trigger posts.
Metrics from the external tools + GA4 — never fabricate numbers or social proof.
Real value, no dark patterns — no bait-and-switch, no fake/resetting urgency, visible unsubscribe, clear consent (GDPR/CAN-SPAM/FTC); value-first, don't pitch early.
Connect the magnet to the paid offer (no offer yet → audience-building, kept light). No bought lists. (Scope, distinctions + connections: references/scope-and-connections.md.)

Distinct from its siblings (route correctly)

lead-magnets-and-funnels (this) = designs the magnet + the social→capture→nurture funnel · link-in-bio-and-traffic / social-selling-and-dm = the capture PATHS that deliver the magnet · email-and-newsletter = the owned channel / ongoing nurture the funnel feeds · goals-and-kpis = sets the target · campaign-and-launch-planning = schedules the promo push.

Where this connects

Reads first: brand-profile, goals-and-kpis. Magnet creative: image-prompt/ideogram/nano-banana, carousel-writer, caption-writer/hook-writer, story-writer. Capture paths: link-in-bio-and-traffic, social-selling-and-dm. Nurture/owned channel: email-and-newsletter (the 3–5 sequence runs in the ESP). Promote/publish: content-calendar, campaign-and-launch-planning, scheduling-and-queue → WoopSocial (promo posts only). Measure/test: analytics-and-reporting (external-tool/GA4), experimentation (A/B magnet/landing/subjects).

Definition of done

A magnet for one audience/one problem/one quick win, instant + interactive where it fits, stage-matched and connected to the paid offer, with an outcome-focused title; the WHOLE funnel designed (benefit-first landing → short form → success page → delivery → a value-first, behavior-branched 3–5 email nurture) tied to the KPI; promo posts drafted for WoopSocial to publish and the capture path named (link-in-bio / DM); the funnel built in external tools by a human with metrics from those + GA4 (never fabricated); real value with visible unsubscribe + clear consent and no dark patterns; correctly distinguished from the capture-path siblings and email-and-newsletter.
